    Universal switch (referred to as 10,000-turn switch) is a cam rotary dial type switch, its working principle, when the cam rotary dial B is rotated 45° from the middle position to the left, the cam squeezes the ball D1, making it touch Point A1 is closed; when the cam rotary dial B is rotated 45° to the right from the intermediate position, the cam presses the ball D2 to close the contact A2. When the cam leaves the ball D1 or D2, the reaction spring moves the ball down to reset the contact. In addition, multiple cams can be mounted on the same camshaft to achieve control of multiple sets of contacts.

    According to the action relationship table and the symbol map, when the changeover switch is rotated 45° to the left, only one pair of contacts is turned on, that is, the contacts 1, 2 are turned on, and the other three pairs of contacts are turned off, that is, Contacts 3, 4, contacts 5, 6 and contacts 7, 8 are open; when the transfer switch is rotated 45° to the right, there are two pairs of contacts, ie contacts 3, 4 and 7 8 is on, and contacts 1, 2 and contacts 5, 6 are open; when the changeover switch is rotated to the intermediate position 0°, only contacts 5, 6 are turned on and the others are open.
